Professor Marks' teaching and research focus upon United States and State Constitutional Law. He is co-author of State Constitutional Law In A Nutshell (2d ed.), Florida Constitutional Law (3d ed.), and three other books. He is also the author or co-author of 25 law review publications and 10 other publications. He is a member of the bars of the United States Supreme Court, the United States Court of Military Appeals, and the Supreme Court of Florida. He is a life member of the U.S. Naval Institute and a member of the U.S. Armor Association. He is also a life member of the Florida Supreme Court Historical Society and a member of the Professional Board of Editors of the annual State Constitutional Commentary issue of the Albany Law Review.
