Judge Scheb received his J.D. from the University of Florida and an LL.M. from the University of Virginia. He practiced law in Sarasota, including serving as city attorney, before being named to Florida's Second District Court of Appeal in 1974. Judge Scheb served as Chief Judge of the court for two years, and retired from the court in 1992. His commitment to the profession and to Sarasota was recognized by the renaming of Sarasota's Inn of Court in his honor. Judge Scheb teaches and writes in the areas of procedure and practice.
