Presentation with details on the London Program
Apply Online / Pay Housing or Tuition Deposits online
Stetson University College of Law is pleased to announce that beginning in the fall of 2008, Stetson law students may earn credits towards their Stetson JD degree, by studying in London, England.
By special arrangements with the University of Tulsa School of Law, which has sponsored a law program in the United Kingdom since 1999, Stetson has assumed administration of this annual program. The site of the program will serve as an additional Stetson campus, and all the academic requirements, and policies that apply at Stetson, will also apply at the program.
The courses offered will include US law courses that will keep you on track in your preparation for the bar examination, but also courses unique to England. There will be special courses on trial advocacy in England, legal research and writing in England and a course comparing the legal systems in both the United States and the United Kingdom.
The program will also offer practical skill internships. In the past, these internships have included the Crown Prosecutor's Office, Amnesty, Fair Trials Abroad, the 2012 Olympic Committee, as well as solicitors and barristers.
Information for the 2008 program may be found at the Tulsa University College of Law Web site at:
