Claire Johnston graduated summa cum laude and King O'Neal Scholar from the University of South Florida with a Bachelors of Social Work (BSW) in December 2004. While attending USF Claire was an active student in the USF Honors College, secretary of the USF Ambassadors, and Vice President of her sorority. Claire spent a summer abroad in Greece and in 2003 she spent a summer interning in Washington D.C. for the Office of the Corporation Counsel. Upon graduation, Claire worked as a child protective services case manager and coordinator. She entered Stetson University College of Law in the fall of 2006. At Stetson, Claire worked as a Research Assistant for Professor James Brown and participated in the Honors Program. She is working as a summer associate for Cobb Cole during the summer of 2008. This fall she will be clerking as a Federal Judicial Intern for the Honorable Elizabeth Jenkins, Magistrate Judge of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida. Claire joined the Stetson Law Review in the summer of 2007 and is currently serving as a Notes and Comments Editor for the Stetson Law Review. Claire will graduate in May 2009. |
